Hello all
I have just been informed that as of November 1 2010, a change to the Law/service will be coming into effect that enables third parties to access your name and address details via entering your vehicle registration into an online search engine, at no cost.
They may fill out an online application as detailed in this article:

Many of you would have seen this article -
http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/4042853/One-lost-leg-not-enough-for-payout - on Stuff during the week, or heard the talkback on Newstalk ZB.
This is one of the problems with buying insurance from banks. Whilst it's great that they have a "captive audience", the problem is that most of them only sell one providers products.

If parents didn’t have enough concerns to worry about when it comes to keeping their kids safe on the internet, they do now. Subjects such as sexting, cyber bullying, stalkers, predators and privacy issues on social networking sites are topics we are still trying to get our head around.
The latest technology that utilizes SMART phone GPS features are known as ‘social location applications’. These applications have the ability to ‘announce’ where we are to our ‘friends’.
Four Square is one such…

While reading the article on Stuff today
http://bit.ly/bl2DAK I am not surprised. The fact that it is 50% higher is tragic. New Zealand has one of the highest rates of teen suicide in the world per capita.

More education needs to be made available, in helping parents identify patterns and risks early, before they get out of hand. People do not decide to take their own life all of a su…

Facebook in New Zealand is growing at an alarming rate. We now have almost 1.7 million users!
Looking at the data more closely, it is great to see that over 45,000 of these users are 65 or older. I congratulate this group and it is a great way for them to not only embrace technology, but also keep in touch with family.
The results also show that 29,000 users fall into the age g…

I am tidying up the office, its crazy to think you can work in a mess, its frustrating and the clutter seems to grow when you don't file papers away like they should be.
I am going to take this last part of the winter to clean up and get organized, any good tips for keeping it that way are very welcome. For a girl who has never worked in a office I think I am not doing too bad but when I see other peoples spaces I realize I need a few good filing tips.

I went to a very interesting seminar this morning.
It was being hosted by those lovely people at ACC and Fidelity Life. It was all about how those of us who are self employed can maximise how much insurance cover our dollars can buy.
At the end of the day, that's all ACC is - another form of insurance. And the last thing anyone wants (even me - I pay ACC levies as well!!) is for ACC to pay us less than we would really want at claim tim

Social media integration is common on the internet these days. Sharing information has become simple. No longer do we need to cut and paste a url into an email, we simply ‘retweet’ it. That way, anyone following us on Twitter will see the link in our tweet.
Likewise, reading an article we like, may encourage us to read more articles by that author. By clicking on the ‘Like’ button we show the author we are interested in their material.
Social networking has become an import…

Hi Friends
I had the opportunity to do what I preach so to speak, which I was so thankful. My son and girlfriend are getting married and we were all off to visit the venue, I was really tired and my face was a bit puffy.
I don't normally get a puffy face, I put it down to drinking Gin cocktails the night before, something I never do.
We arrived at the venue and I looked at my self in the rear vision mirror from the back seat a

I am writing about the success of Sleep & Relax Rescue,
I am getting reports and recommendations for this product as it is helping people get to sleep and sleep soundly, this is what it was designed for, many are reporting they are sleeping so well they are not sure if they are so tired or it is the Sleep & Relax Rescue.
My answer to that is, we always look for alternate reasons, (human nature) The thing is Sleep and Relax Rescue will help

Many people wrongly believe that writing and sending a press release is all they need to do to get media publicity.
For those new to the media game, press releases are like stories you see in newspapers, but they are sent to journalists to encourage them to produce their own stories on the topics covered.
These must be written properly, but there are other things in the publici

The battle to gain credibility is a major reason why millions of small businesses wind up each year. This credibility can only be achieved by receiving positive coverage in the news media. That’s why media publicity is a popular option when it comes to small business marketing ideas.
While large companies often have big budgets to promote themselves through the media, smaller players find it hard to connect with their target markets.
