Insurance borkers that are worth their salt will have these forms in place to… Continue

Dean Stewart Parents Responsibilities Extend to the Internet Too !

Parents who have children under the age of 18 at home are 'Internet Parents'. As such, they have a responsibility in managing what can be accessed by children on the internet. The entire spectrum of human behaviour can be found on the internet from the most noble to the most debauched. As parents, we cannot monitor our kids internet activity all of the time, yet by installing parental control software, we can at least play our part, in limiting harmful material from being viewed. Instant Messa… Continue

Onno Knuvers AnimFX 2009

Just came back from windy Wellington after attending the Animation Development Master Class hosted by Sander Schwartz and Rita Street at AnimFX 2009. The landing into Wellington was pretty interesting, with the strong northerly wind it felt like a roller caster and my stomach was in my throat half the time but the Air New Zealand pilots got us there in one piece so two thumbs up to them. Hearing Sander and Rita was amazing, they were funny and were happy to share their experience and knowledge.… Continue

Gabrielle A Barnett Make a wise decision

The seasons guide us in choosing holidays, product and energy, but what guides us in making wise decisions during the crazy busy times - like End of Year? Or would you prefer the dramatic variety who loves the noise, confused, scrambled mind? What about accepting a December Challenge? Wouldn't it be neat if you… Continue

Dean Stewart How Concerned are Companies with Regard to Internet Surfing by Staff?

Each company has a different policy regarding internet use. Some will lock down access to only a few sites, while others may have an open access policy. Others may deploy access rules on their firewall or use a hardware appliance to block certain categories from being accessed. Internet abuse is common, and habits can be hard to break. Even a staff member spending 45 minutes to an hour per day can build up to alot of lost revenue and productivity for a company. Businesses now have to contend w… Continue

Suzanne Carter What Is Web Usability and Why Do I Need To Know About It?

Web usability covers a broad range of areas but generally it focuses on ensuring you keep visitors on your website and help them achieve their goals. In many cases you can make improvements to your site by adding or altering content, and in other cases a web designer may be needed to make technical changes. Often a small number of seemingly insignificant changes can collectively improve the experience of a user. Marion Jackson SMALL BUSINESS SUCCESS

As an entrepreneur, you need to possess self-confidence, along with a never-ending sense of urgency in order to develop your ideas. To succeed, you need to be far-sighted, accepting things as they are and deal with them accordingly. A smart entrepreneur will be quick to change direction when they see that a plan isn’t working. More importantly, you mu… Continue

Marion Jackson REAL ESTATE AGENTS CAN PROFIT FROM WORKING WITH A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

Real Estate agents are arguably some of the busiest people in the business world, needing to spend valuable time on marketing themselves, marketing their listings, working directly with clients and following up after a sale. The more successful a Real Estate agent is, the more administrative tasks they create and the more time they spend on administrative tasks, meaning there is less time to generate new revenue. Too much administrative work can become exhausting and time consuming. It can tak… Continue
