Dierckx & Associates is a unique organisation: one of the rare business that truly strive for delivering excellence in a commercial environment where mediocracy appears to be the norm. You are about to learn about an astounding company. A typical example of the age of information and our networked world. Dierckx & Associates is a boutique, risk and litigation related professional services provider based in Christchurch New Zealand, managed and directed by John Dierckx. Established in 2003 and incorporated in 2006, the business has been involved in a wide range of cases involving amongst others different types of fraud, theft and asset misappropriation, professional misconduct, civil litigation, dispute resolution, breaches of the Biosecurity Act and corporate espionage / data leakage and (debt) negotiation. Involvement has led to sucessful claims, prosecutions as well as resolutions outside the court. Clients range from private individuals and SME’s to large corporations, multinationals, government agencies, NGO’s and semi-government bodies worldwide.

Some of the cases you may have read about are R v Samantha Stevens (aka Edwards) who ended up being convicted for well over 90 charges of fraud, Sojourner v Robb, a reported case for which we did the initial leg work, R v Michael Devine, who ended up being convicted for amongst others theft, AHB v Michael Devine leading to conviction for breaches of the Biosecurity Act, AHB v Stuart Moir which lead to conviction for breaches of the Biosecurity Act.

Established as a business in 2003 and incorporated in 2006, Dierckx & Associctes has become an internationally recognised boutique service provider. Our reputation is built upon upon results achieved, often in the most difficult of circumstances. Such outcomes are attributable to the blended application of strategic, investigative, legal and innovation skills.
What I'm looking for on vbiznz
The largest group of businesses in New Zealand is SME. At the same time they are the group least served. I hope to assist SME in beefing up their fraud protection and hopefully clients will look back and say: hey, this fraud protection is not expensive at all, not disruptive at all and if it saved me one incident John's advice will have paid for itself generously.

Healthy business starts with a healthy business environment.

Today I Retire

Going over last days mail, I am sure I can retire now.

I won two lotteries, prize money totaling around 18 million NZ (I used XE.com to convert) and that is on top of the lotteries I won last week. Besides that I am going to make another few million on helping a lawyer, a widower, a religious person that saw me appear in her vision when doing her praying for a solution to get, money out of some African country to reinvest it in New Zealand.

And here comes the next part, as if all this money w… Continue

FRAUD AWARENESS WEEK: How ready are we really?

More than once I have wondered how it can be that the chances of conviction and imprisonment are higher when you are caught stealing a car than when you defraud investors or creditors from $15 million. It is not that hard to guess I think: in the first instance there is a clear cut criminal offense and if indeed caught for it, a fat chance of a guilty plea or at least a confession. Therefore such a case is a relatively easy addition to the stats. With frauds and scams it is not always that easy,… Continue
