Christchurch's VBIZNZ Coffee Meeting at Hotel So. Last month we had so many networkers the tables were full, it was such a great event. See you all there.
14 Members came to the last coffee meet, lots of business cards and promotions were going around the table and some business too.
Don't miss out on the next one, we look forward to seeing you there.
Make sure you rsvp here.
I see Heike says don't join every social networking site. I imagine this is wise advice.

My ideal client is one that is retiring from full time work and wanting to explore lifestyle options during the retirement chapter of his/her life. If you work with these people or know where to find them I would love to talk with you.
It's nice to get a better understanding of your work, and your ideal client. I will be thinking more on that during the course of my travels.
I am interested in sustainability but have yet to find a group (other than the VBIZ one) that doesn't spam me. In particular I would like to see something implemented such as environmentally neutral transactions, a bit like carbon neutrality, but for everyone.
I am very interested in helping businesses develop and am quite limited time wise so can afford to be extremely fussy about what my time goes into. I have a network of experienced administrators I can call upon for certain tasks. Where possible I give systems advice, recommend methods to achieve the business' goals and then if they really need assistance I work with them. I am very conscious of cost for small business so when I recommend purchases I'm always looking at transactions as investments rather than expenses. Often I won't recommend myself because of my time limitations! My ideal client is an entreprenuer/small business owner who is very focused on their product but needs assistance setting up systems to run in the background. If you think it's expensive hiring an expert - try hiring an amateur. My skills are very broad and my strengths are my communication and information technology skills. Most of my training is either communication and IT based although I have governance, web design, people management, negotiation etc as well.
Oh and I forgot to mention - although I do assist New Zealand based clients, my ideal client is not based in NZ. I am currently working with an Australian organisation, done some work for US based organisations and yes, still do have a small pool of NZ based clients. Might sound odd but the reason I defined my clients as non-NZers was due to the recession... I thought even though it was small, I'd prefer to bring income into NZ from elsewhere than just recirculate what we already have.
Please feel welcome to drop me a note any time, I'd be happy to assist you and will continue to think on your ideal client. I may email you with a few more questions.
