Just to clarify.... my family life is wonderful, kids well taken care of, fantastic relationship etc... I'm just not organised.. in fact the children remind me of things that need doing...
Oh I know the feeling.
Most likely it is that as a business women you have a better handle on the control of what goes on in your business. However at home we have the added benefit of partners, kids, pets etc etc that seem to take great delight in making things harder than they need to be.
Hahaha I just had to crack up laughing at this topic! Finding a balance is an ongoing challenge - especially seeing as the goal posts literally are moving targets for entrepreneurs. I juggle and things do slip. Prioritising helps - 1,2 and 3.... If it's important and urgent I do it first (without exception), if it's important but not urgent I do it second and if it's not important and not urgent I just put it aside to do later. I bunch all of my 1s, 2s and 3s together and do all the ones first etc etc. What seems to work well for me is bucketing my home life to-dos and my work to-dos all in the one place. I don't keep them separate. That way I get at least the important and urgent, and the important not urgents done for both. Trying to keep them separate and prioritise didn't work because I had to keep referring to two lists.
